About Deborah
I have been teaching for many years and during these years I have helped thousand of students with their studies. I believe that we are all capable of learning and I engage my students in activities that will keep their interest. If students don't enjoy learning they will not learn.

I have spent approximately 8 years in Hong Kong teaching English (EALD) in the government primary schools. When learning a new language I believe it works much better if it is a small group tutoring experience. In this way students can practice with each other.
Reading Difficulties and comprehension work best with one or two students, if the students are at the same level. If students are in lower primary I tutor using Reading Recovery techniques - this being intense one on one lessons.
I like to tutor mathematics to students as individuals however, it also works well with two students in the group who are both motivated to learn.
