I teach basic music theory in conjunction with learning piano basics, all the way up to an advanced level if the student wishes. Where we start depends on your experience level, but each lesson will have a review of past concepts and introduce at least one new one every lesson.
For example, next week, I am working on intervals with my current student, and we will be reviewing major and minor chords and some of the scales he has been practicing.
Improvising and arranging are my bread and butter when it comes to music, so I am going to try to train you to think and hear like a musician and can help you start composing your own music as well. My style is little bit more fluid and flexible and adaptive to meet your musical needs at your experience level. Happy to work with anyone at all levels depending on what it is that you are trying to improve or develop and take it from there.
