About Celina
I am 22 years old and have recently graduated with a first class degree in Bristol, always working hard and passionately at what I do. Having grown up trilingual and living between two countries, I have a lot of experience adapting to all sorts of people and cultures.
I see teaching as building an individual rapport with a student and really believe that the best learning experiences are guided by the student’s interests. I also believe in intrinsic learning; allowing your mind to absorb through cultural exposure to a subject. This works well alongside technical studying to fully absorb learnt materials, without putting constant strain on your brain.
Otherwise I am passionate about education and what it does to grow as a person, and really want to be a part of making that happen for you!

Having grown up in France, I can help you improve your French from a young and colloquial perspective. Lessons can range from thorough reading, writing and grammar, to conversation, accent reduction and culture. I can adjust lessons to suit you.
My lesson plans will be created intuitively, depending on your needs and interests; I am not interested in teaching the usual tourist vocabulary, I want you to be able to express in French what you want.
Being trilingual, I believe that language learning is also a cultural education, so some history and culture will be included.
I have some experience tutoring for GCSE and A-level prep as well as reviewing writing and translation. My lessons now are geared towards university and adult students.
Lessons typically last from 40min to 1hour and will be conducted on Zoom or face to face if you are local to me.
