About Octavia
I am a student myself i have been giving lessons for a year ,in that year I have taught 5 student all of my students have improved greatly and found that i have an approachable way of teaching due to the fact i have worked and been taught how to work with people who have learning difficulties and struggle to comprehend concepts in a way others might.

I give lessons to Primary, KS3 and GCSE students, mostly in English and Maths. The majority of my lessons are one-to-one but I do give group lessons on occasion. My teaching method is informal and encouraging, based on past papers and with time factored in for personal assessment and I as an educator know that student engagement is the key to learning retention and having a great overall classroom experience. With changing times, education requires adaptation and evolution. Students are not as easily captivated as before by simple colorful animations in textbooks and monotonous songs to correlate with learned concepts. Crafting an environment that is holistic and effective is vital for student learning.
Not all students learn the same way, but all can be encouraged to participate actively in the classroom to build new knowledge. Creativity is vital for a classroom to be successful.
