About Happy
I am a B.Ed student with a strong interest in helping learners build solid foundations in English. My approach is patient, structured, and focused on understanding rather than simply memorising answers.
I aim to identify gaps in a learner’s understanding, explain concepts clearly, and provide guided practice so that the learner gradually becomes more confident and independent.
I am particularly interested in working with primary and lower-secondary learners who need additional support with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.

I teach English not through rote memorisation of grammar and vocabulary but through an iterative process of expressive writing and slow reading of text that is both intriguing and comprehensible to the child. Above all, though, each lesson is tailored to the current needs of the student, which I will determine through a series of diagnostic assessments at the commencement of the engagement. I am a strong proponent of meeting the student where they are.
