About Veronica
Hello! My name is Veronica, and I'm excited to be your English teacher.
I am originally a native Spanish speaker and have been living in Vancouver, Canada, since 2021. During my time here, I have had the opportunity to study and work, which has helped me strengthen my English skills while experiencing Canadian culture firsthand. Because I have learned English as a second language myself, I understand the challenges students may face, and I enjoy helping others build their confidence step by step.
My teaching style is dynamic, energetic, and student-centered. I believe that learning should be engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. I strive to create a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my dog, gym, traveling, paddle boarding, and snowboarding. I also love working with children and helping people build their confidence in English through fun and meaningful conversations.

This beginner lesson focuses on building confidence with basic English. Students will learn common greetings, simple introductions, everyday vocabulary, and basic sentence patterns through interactive activities, guided practice, and speaking exercises.
