About Ruwayda
My name is Ruwayda! A recent psychology graduate at Glasgow Caledonian University. I graduated with a first class honours degree in applied psychology with a bracketed award of counselling psychology. I also received an award for having the highest grade and best research project (dissertation) out of my psychology cohort. I am also part of the British psychological society. I am soon wanting to go onto doing a PhD in clinical psychology at Glasgow University. I have a passion for teaching psychology as I was recently in the shoes of a student and I understand how overwhelming some of the psychological concepts and literature can be as to why I want to bring as much ease and understanding as possible! I also understand that everyone has different abilities and learning strategies which is what I will take on board when teaching you as I take a very flexible approach. I believe that everyone can achieve anything and everything as long as they have the guidance and helping hand alongside them.

To bring a tailored approach to better suit every person's needs and abilities in order to make the difficult parts of psychology more manageable, understandable and hopefully enjoyable! Whether it’s you wanting to have a better understanding of a certain concept/ help with structuring an essay to something bigger like exam and/or dissertation prep, I am here to be your step-to-step guide to try get you as confident and ready as you can be! My sessions are done online and can be video or audio…whatever better suits you to make you have a comfortable experience
