About Mila
I have always loved languages. I speak Latvian, French, English and Russian, wanting to learn more and this motivates me to help other students too. I come from an IB school and can provide you with helpful tips for your future. I believe everyone can learn anything, as long as they have the willpower, and believe me when I say: "I will be there with you every step of the way!"
I have had many tutoring jobs, from working with kindergartners learning the basics of languages to students wanting to improve on their academic writing. I am patient and will always answer every question as many times as you need because your education matters.

I take my time to understand what exactly your needs are and we go from there. I mostly have taught IB students 11th and 12th grade, however, I have worked with children in lower grades too, even kindergartners.
If academic writing is your main goal, then we will approach it by writing various essays and using my previous work, analyzing my mistakes and how I improved upon them. We will read both informal and formal literature to help with diversifying your academic writing. If you are preparing for the IB exam, I got a 7/7 on my IB Exam Finals (all three parts).
If creative writing is what interests you more, then we will go more into detail after you explain your process. We will try several genres, from short stories to poetry. Read and analyze what works in creative writing so you can improve upon it.
Along with the two, I will continue to support you through learning spelling and grammar, as well as, give you tips on proofreading!
