About Zachary
Hi, I’m Zach! I’m a student myself, and I’ve always enjoyed learning new things and helping other people understand them. I’m currently a straight-A student with a 4.1+ GPA, and I take a lot of pride in my academics.
Since I’m still a student, I know what it’s like to sit in a class and have a topic just not click right away. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’m young, but I’m dedicated to helping other students grow, improve their grades, and feel more confident in school. I’m easy to talk to, patient, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions without feeling judged.

When I tutor, I focus on making difficult topics easier to understand instead of just giving you the answer. I like to break things down step-by-step, use examples, and explain them in different ways until they make sense.
Usually, we’ll start by figuring out what you’re struggling with. Then we’ll go over the topic together, work through some examples, and have you try a few problems on your own. I’ll help when you get stuck and make sure you understand the process before moving on.
I tutor middle school and high school students in math, algebra, science, and chemistry. Whether you need help with homework, preparing for a test, catching up in class, or understanding a topic that has been giving you trouble, I’ll work with you at your own pace.

Details
My tutoring rate is $20 per hour. I’m flexible with what we focus on and can help with homework, studying for upcoming tests, reviewing class material, or going over specific topics that you’re having trouble with. I’m available to work with students at different levels and will do my best to work around their schedule. I want tutoring to feel comfortable and low-pressure, while still making sure we’re using our time effectively.
