About Elizabeth
I have studied French personally (as self-taught) for about 10 years and studied it at university (King's College London) to undergrad level. I have taught French up to A Level and lived in France (Paris) for a year. My specialisms are helping with oral expression, encouraging critical thinking around French expression and improving spoken expression for presentations and extended projects.

Focusing on the students' needs surrounding expression, I tend to look at what needs improving from an academic point of view and focusing on what the student can do to reach her/his goals. I approach French from a coaching/teaching point of view in terms of how the use of expression is helpful in talking about topics that are of interest to the student and what they can do to express their chosen topics more fluidly (written and spoken). I also look at grammar and idiomatic expressions to help students understand the language and to help them write or speak more fluently.
