About Winnie
My name is Winnie and I grew up in London, UK. I was always surrounded by people from diverse backgrounds, many who struggled with English language. I am very open to other cultures and experienced living in China and travelling around the world. The best method of communication during my travels were English, body language and emotions! I am very passionate about helping people express themselves and it brings me great pleasure to see people communicate beautifully in a shared language. I am hoping to help you gain confidence to learn English in whatever way appeals to you and makes you happy to learn. Language should not be a barrier and I am here to help you!

Hi There! My name is Winnie and I have ten years' experience tutoring mostly students, working adults and businessmen/women with conversational and practical English. I speak Chinese Mandarin and understand some Korean so I have been able to help Mandarin and Korean speakers too. I also speak some French so I am able to communicate without judgement and adapt to your level of English. I have no strict written or designed course as I hope to be completely flexible to each individual, each lesson depends on your objectives. Once we have our initial conversation, you let me know what service you need so that we can establish a plan that is suitable for you. I would recommend one-hour lessons so that you can benefit from a full session with me. If you would like more than one hour per session we can arrange a suitable time that works for both of us so that we can use that time effectively. In case you simply need specific services such as: proofreading, grammar check, cover letter, visa application etc, I can also support with these. I work remotely so as long as you are able to connect to the internet, we can arrange our lessons at a suitable time no matter where you are from or where you live I am looking forward to working with you.
