About Daiva
I have been studying dance since I was 4 years old. My dance journey started with Ballroom and Latin dance. While in school I was invited to join a national dance group as well as started working as a professional dancer in a Majorettes group and for 3 years travelled with the band around Europe performing in various festivals. In 2000 I moved to England where I instantly fell in love with Salsa and was invited to join Diablo Dance Company directed by Laith Sami (award-winning choreographer). Here I trained, performed and started my dance teaching career as a lead girl in the group. I have since become 3 times European salsa champion, performed and taught all over UK and some international events, worked with Miguel (of Mambonito Dance Company) and as a solo artist as well as in a female team Mileydis with Andrea Stewart. Most importantly with each year the passion for salsa and teaching grew stronger and stronger :)

Strong foundation and technique is a base to develop your own salsa style, body movements and your dance vocabulary. During lessons I break down technique and provide additional exercises to help you build correct foundation. We also will be focusing on body movements and musicality while learning some short choreography to help you put into practice all learnt material. All of the lessons are delivered with lighthearted jokes, smiles and lots of fun :) There is no better feeling than seeing my students progress each lesson and being able to freely enjoy themselves on the dance floor :)

Perfect! Daiva is an amazing teacher, she is full of energy and passion for salsa, which is very contagious throughout the class. She corrected my mistakes while praising me when I was doing it correctly. I had fun learning from her and I highly recommend her!

Daiva is a very passionate dancer and teacher. She breaks down and explains steps and techniques in detail and creates fun short routines to help practice them. I feel great progress during every lesson and I look forward to them. She makes classes fun and has a really great vibe. She is very professional and inspirational. Couldn't recommend her enough. Daiva taught me and my husband our wedding dance. We both have 2 left feet but she make salsa such fun to learn and we managed to wow everyone at the wedding. Because of Daiva I'm hooked on salsa and she is now teaching me ladies styling. Such an amazing, friendly, passionate teacher.
Daiva is an amazing teacher! I had wanted to start with salsa lessons for ages but somehow never felt up to it. Daiva is an amazing teacher. She is passionate about dancing, and she clearly shares her passion with her students. She makes it effortless, and teach with patience and great care.
Plus she has a great sense of humour! I would highly recommend learning with her if you want to progress fast, and to feel like a feather ( or a Queen!) on the dancefloor!I have taken private salsa classes with Daiva for a while now. And I love them so much!
She always knows exactly what I need to work on, and breaks it down really well; with exercises and drills to help me really understand it.
She always challenges me, and we have so much fun in the lessons. My dancing really has improved so much since she started teaching me, and as a result I feel SO much more confident on the dance floor!
I will probably be doing lessons with her until I'm 70! :)
