About Douglas
Hey. As I mentioned before, I graduated with honors in math and philosophy and minored in psychology. I also tutored math, philosophy and logic. I did research in mathematical logic as an undergraduate as well. I took courses in Analysis, number theory, combinatorics and abstract algebra as advanced undergraduate course in mathematics.

I try to adopt to the learning style of the student. In math it is possible to learn at a surface level to pass a class or to go deeper to understand. Someone may just want to know how to compute something but not care about why they do it or why it works. So I will consider these things when I tutor someone. Also, in my experience, people usually have some idea about how they learn best and I try to go off of that.
