About Abhinav
I am a university-level scholar with a 97.2/100 GPA and a 1560 SAT, specializing in advanced mathematics and physics. My qualifications include a perfect 5/5 score on the AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics exams, alongside the completion of Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Applied Combinatorics at Georgia Tech. Beyond my academic credentials, I have extensive experience in the practical application of STEM as an AI Intern and have a proven track record of mentorship, having tutored over 100 students. I offer a unique tutoring perspective that bridges the gap between complex theoretical concepts and real-world problem-solving.

My name is Abhinav, and my approach as a tutor is focused on clarity, structure, and building real understanding, not just memorization. As an engineering student, I’ve learned how to break down complex math and physics concepts into simple, logical steps that students can actually follow and apply on their own.
Teaching method and techniques:
- I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level and learning pace. I focus on:
- Explaining concepts from the ground up
- Connecting theory to practical problem-solving
- Identifying gaps in understanding and fixing them early
- Teaching efficient methods used in exams and assessments
I encourage questions at every step and make sure students feel comfortable saying when something isn’t clear.
A typical lesson plan:
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material or homework. I then introduce new concepts with clear explanations and examples, followed by guided practice where we solve problems together. Toward the end of the session, students work independently while I provide feedback and tips. Each lesson ends with a short summary and, if needed, targeted practice to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart:
What sets me apart is my ability to think like both a student and an engineer. I understand where students usually get stuck and how to explain concepts in a simpler, more intuitive way. I focus on long-term understanding so students become confident and independent, not dependent on constant help.
Who the lessons are for:
My lessons are suitable for middle school and high school students, as well as beginners who need a strong foundation in math and physics. I can help with regular coursework, exam preparation, homework support, and strengthening weak areas.
My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but also feel confident and capable when facing math and physics problems.

Abhinav is easily one of the best tutors I have ever worked with. He tutored me in Physics I when I was struggling to wrap my head around rotational dynamics and torque. I remember one specific late night study session where I was completely stuck on a problem involving angular momentum and moments of inertia. To explain why a rotating object speeds up as mass pulls inward, Abhinav literally had me sit in a swivel chair, extend my arms holding two heavy textbooks, and pull them into my chest while he spun the chair. Feeling the immediate spike in rotation speed made conservation of angular momentum make total physical sense instead of just being a set of variables on a page. His energy for physical problem solving is incredible, and his hands on analogies make difficult concepts stick. If you want to actually build confidence in physics, Abhinav is the tutor you want.
I highly recommend Abhinav as a math tutor. I first knew Abhinav from high school debate, and we ended up in the same AP Calculus BC class. I remember completely hitting a wall during our unit on Taylor series, especially when trying to visualize how polynomial approximations worked. Abhinav sat down with me after school and literally drew out a sine curve on graph paper, layering polynomials degree by degree. Seeing him visually pin down the curve at a single anchor point and show how each added derivative matched the slope, curvature, and bend of the original function made the whole concept click instantly. His passion for math is real, and his teaching style focuses on making abstract formulas visual and intuitive. He turned my most frustrating topic into pure logic. Anyone taking high level math should definitely reach out to him.
