About Kevin
Hello! I am Kevin and I am looking forward to helping students in their math journeys in school. I believe that math should not be a burden to anyone, and strive to aleviate any stress that you or your child may have in math.
I also tutor as part of my school tutoring program. I tutor my peers at my school twice per week in subjects ranging from physics, biology, data management, functions, and chemistry.
I achieved a score of 97 in grade 10 math, 98 in grade 11 math and 100 in grade 12 math.

How I teach:
I plan ahead for each student and cater to their specific needs. Do you need more trigonometry help? I would prepare more lessons and explain trigonometry step-by-step in a way beginners can understand.
I go through any hard questions that the student may have encountered. I will walk the student through how I would approach the challenge, my thinking process and how I would present my solution during an assessment.
I also communicate with the student what they are supposed to learn next in their school course, and give a preview of the content. My students enter a new topic in school with newfound confidence in themselves.
I believe that math is not only working with numbers and "x"; communication skills are a big part of being strong at math. Presenting solutions properly is essential not only on exams, but also math contests.
