About Nazia
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English, as well as a Master's in Creative Writing. I also hold a Bachelor of Education, specializing in English and Social Sciences at the intermediate and high school levels (grades 6-12). I have been teaching high school English for the past 10 years in Toronto, Canada. And I have a passion for learning from my students as much as I do for teaching them. I also have experience teaching kindergarten and elementary levels, as well as individual instruction for learners with dyslexia. I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham methods of teaching students with difficulty reading and writing.

I teach the English class kids want to be in :) I like to create a safe space where individuals learn, grow, and don't feel ashamed to make mistakes. I connect with my students at a personal level and make lessons engaging and relatable, providing a variety of ways for students to learn new skills and practice them. My goal is to equip my students with confidence and skills that they can apply in their classroom, workplace, and wherever else their future takes them.
