About Arissa
My name is Ari, I am a freelance writer who runs a poetry blog from home. I travel a lot, which is why I chose to tutor online. I graduated 37th in my class of over 400 students, and completed two college level English classes in my junior year. I have a passion for reading and writing, and overall helping people find joy and confidence in their writing.
In today’s world, the use of AI has become increasingly more popular in our schooling. However, many students use it to cheat their way through school. I believe AI is a great tool, and offer ways to help teach how to use it to your overall advantage while still making the piece your own.

All online, through calls or FaceTime videos. Flexible, I will work with Middle school and high school students to help improve and help them feel more confident in their writing.
The way I help people is by allowing them to walk me through their writing process (if they have one) and help guide them. I typically help kids write up an outline, rough draft, and give pointers on small issues to fix. My main goal is to help teach students how to notice patterns in their own writing so that they will be able to correct problems on their own in the future.
As an eighteen year old, I think it’s easier to connect with students and help them by having same experiences.
