About Daniel
I am a high school graduate and will be studying Engineering at UCLA in the fall. I have been tutoring fellow students at my school through our Physics and Math Club tutoring programs during and after school. I have been tutoring for about 2 years and have received great results. My tutees have increased motivation and proficiency when tackling homework problems and have drastically improved their study and work ethic.

My tutoring method adapts to each student's general needs and varies depending on what the student is learning and what he/she needs assistance on (e.g. homework, test-taking skills, motivation, understanding concepts, etc.). A general methodology I use is the EDGE method (explain, demonstrate, guide, and enable) that have helped improve many of my tutees' understanding of academic material. I initially explain the purpose of a math or physics concept, demonstrate how to implement the concept, guide the students on working through examples, homework, etc., and finally, enabling the students to individually attempt practice problems via their textbook or workbook.
