About Austin
As an educator, I believe every student deserves a fair and complete chance at success through a student-centered approach that values their unique differences, encourages a growth mindset, and fosters both academic and social development. I aim to create an active learning environment where students engage in meaningful activities that build language, social skills, and real-world application. My teaching is grounded in open-mindedness and respect, challenging students to think critically, especially on topics like politics, beliefs, and social justice, while supporting their growth as researchers, writers, thinkers, and communicators for life beyond the classroom.
