About Tadan
I am a freshman in high school taking four honors classes as well as accelerated Spanish. I have maintained a high academic standard with my lowest grade being an A- in biology for my first quarter. My favorite subject is English and I would love to help my fellow student peers who may be having trouble understanding certain literary topics. I also participate in an after school club where we create a literary magazine full of creative writing. My strengths are analysis papers, argumentative papers, essay formatting, and study skills. I’ve have been lucky to learn many of these skills from my mother who is a professional English tutor. Outside of school my passion lies in the arts, where I take voice lessons, participate in an advanced high school orchestra where I was accepted by audition, and participate in many plays and musicals. From time to time I also make sure to help others by dedicating my time to community service.

I currently have not taught in a formal classroom setting, but when helping peers I begin by addressing where their confusion lies, and then helping them to the best of my ability to make sure that they are understanding the concept that is being taught. I try my best to make sure that my peer fully understands the concept before letting them be to do it on their own, which is hard to do in a timed class and in a group setting, which is why I think it would be good to help them in a one on one environment.
