About Aafiyah
Hi! I’m a high school junior and a dedicated, top-performing math student with a strong academic record of mostly A and A+ grades in math. I’ve always had a passion for math and enjoy helping others understand concepts that may seem difficult at first.
I come from a strong math background, as my mom is a math teacher and my sister is also a math tutor, which has helped me develop effective ways to explain and teach math clearly. I am patient, responsible, and committed to helping students feel more confident in their abilities.
I take my work seriously and always aim to create a supportive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment for every student.

I take a patient and step-by-step approach to teaching, making sure students truly understand each concept before moving on. I break down problems into simple steps and explain them in a way that is easy to follow.
In a typical lesson, I review what the student is currently learning, help with homework or problem areas, and then practice similar questions together to build confidence. I also make sure to adjust my teaching style based on how each student learns best.
I understand that math can feel overwhelming, so I try to make lessons supportive and stress-free. What sets me apart is my strong math background and ability to explain concepts clearly. As a high school junior and top math student, and with a math teacher as a parent, I have learned effective ways to teach and simplify difficult topics.
My lessons are for elementary and middle school students who want to improve their understanding, confidence, and performance in math.
