About Liam
I am a 3rd-year Aerospace Systems Engineering Undergraduate at the University of Newcastle, Australia. I studied both HSC Mathematics Advanced and HSC Physics in 2023, obtaining a Band 5 and Band 4 respectively with an ATAR of 84.05. I have taken my knowledge in these fields and moved into studying Engineering.
I have a deep passion for engineering and science, and love encouraging others to learn STEM and join the builders, creators, designers and studiers of the universe.
I am not a prodigy and experienced my fair share of stress and confusion during my High School years, but I know that through hard work and strong support from those around you, anyone can improve, even finding new passions in the difficult concepts.
I hold a current Working with Children's Check.

Mathematics and Physics often contain difficult-to-grasp concepts, and I understand that every student learns differently. My goal as a tutor is not to teach students the material they learn in class, but rather, show different ways to approach and understand problems, as I know from personal experience that it is much easier to tackle problems when you can accurately visualise and understand it. I myself struggled with HSC Mathematics and Physics, but it was the support of my teachers, classmates and online lecturers that kept me pushing forward, and I aim to provide that same support.
Lessons can vary from 1-3 hours and I am happy to tutor all 7-10 Mathematics as well as Years 11 and 12 HSC Mathematics Standard and Advanced, and Year 12 HSC Physics.
I remember the stress of studying in High School and approaching those fateful weeks of the HSC, and as such, I aim to provide a welcoming, calming space where students can understand and improve, seeing real results and a new appreciation for the content they study.
