About Jordan
I’m a university student with four years of experience tutoring high school students, and I genuinely enjoy helping people build confidence in subjects they once found difficult.
I love teaching math and physics because there’s a real satisfaction in taking a problem that initially seems overwhelming and breaking it down until it makes sense. I try to help students understand the reasoning behind what they’re doing, rather than simply memorizing formulas or methods.
My lessons are relaxed, patient and light-hearted. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through problems at their own pace. Seeing a student go from “I have no idea how to do this” to solving it independently is easily my favorite part of tutoring.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s current level, goals and learning style. I focus on helping students genuinely understand the concepts rather than simply memorizing steps or formulas.
Lessons can include assignment guidance, test and exam revision, working through difficult questions, or learning new content ahead of class. I explain concepts step-by-step and use worked examples before letting students attempt problems independently with guidance when needed.
I can tutor mathematics, physics, engineering and related technical subjects for high-school and early university students. Typical lessons are around 1–2 hours, depending on the student’s needs.
