About Elizabeth
I have been a certified public school teacher in Massachusetts for the past six years. My certifications are in physics and chemistry. In the past two years, I have taught physics, chemistry, freshmen science, and research. I have also TAd general and organic chemistry at a university level and have tutored a variety of STEM subjects and levels.

Whether you don't understand a word of what's going on or you're looking for a little extra edge to stay competitive, I can help take the stress out of your math and science classes. I've been teaching high school (physics, chemistry, freshman science, and AP research) for six years. Before that, I TAd and tutored general and organic chemistry. So, I am very with the way teachers and professors word things, and I can help them make sense to you.
I can help with any high school math or science class, as well as college level general and organic chemistry. My style focuses on finding ways to approach the material that fit your individual strengths. I will look at whatever parts of the work are most concerning for you, and find and explain any background you might be missing.
I especially enjoy the challenge of making an intimidating class manageable, and I do well with students who are anxious or have fallen behind. My second speciality is students who are dealing with very high expectations in these intense courses and who need to work clever, not just hard, to be where they want to be.
If you're having trouble in math or science, or just want to make sure you never do, my lessons can help you take the stress out of your stem classes.
