I have a strong English background from high school, having completed all general education English classes as well as AP Language, AP Literature, and Creative Writing. I am a motivated, focused, and driven tutor. My goal is for every one of my students to grow and feel confident in their English proficiency.

My approach as a tutor is to give all of my students a sense of understanding in a way that fits their learning style. Whether my students are visual, auditory, or logical learners, I adapt my teaching methods to best accommodate them. A typical lesson plan starts with warming up by addressing grammar or vocabulary challenges, followed by dissecting a passage or short story. I struggled with English when I was younger, and I would have loved a tutor who could meet my needs and support me where I needed it most. I am motivated and driven to help students in those same ways and to help them feel confident in their academics. My lessons are geared toward English work for elementary students-sophomores in high school.
