About Maria
Hi! I'm a high school junior who enjoys math and science, especially algebra and chemistry. I know that some topics can be confusing at first, so I want to help students understand them in a way that makes sense to them. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and willing to explain things step by step. My goal is to help students improve their skills, feel more confident, and understand what they're learning in school. I look forward to helping students learn and reach their goals!

My Teaching Method
I like to explain things step by step so students can understand how to solve problems instead of just memorizing answers. I use examples and practice questions to help them get better and feel more confident.
A Typical Lesson
First, we go over what the student is learning in class and what they need help with. Then, we work through problems together and practice until they understand the topic better. I also make sure to go back over anything they find confusing.
What Makes Me Different
As a high school junior, I understand that some subjects can be frustrating when they don't make sense right away. I'm patient and willing to explain things in different ways until the student understands. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without being embarrassed.
Who My Lessons Are For
I want to help elementary and middle school students who need extra help with math, algebra, or basic chemistry. Whether they're struggling with homework or just want more practice, I'll do my best to help them understand the material and feel more confident in class. Overall make it fun!
