About Maddison
Hi! My name is Maddison, and I'm a 16-year-old high school student who’s passionate about helping others succeed in English. I’ve always loved reading, writing, and helping classmates understand grammar and vocabulary. Over the past two years, I’ve gained experience tutoring younger students in person and online, especially in reading comprehension, essay writing, and homework support. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy playing music (I’m in band!), learning new things, and staying active in school. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and I always try to make learning simple and comfortable. I know school can be overwhelming, so I aim to make tutoring something students can look forward to, not stress over.

I specialize in reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing support for elementary and middle school students. Whether you're working on essays, homework, or just want to become a more confident reader or writer, I can help you learn in a fun and clear way.
I'm patient, organized, and I always explain things step by step. I’ve tutored kids both in person and online, and I love making lessons easy to understand and even enjoyable! I charge $15/hour and offer flexible scheduling after school or on weekends.
