About Amethyst
I am 15 years old and in the tenth grade. I enjoy literature and am enrolled in AP English classes. I'm a very calm and patient person, especially when someone requires it. I'm very understanding when it comes to tutoring; I haven't done it in a long time, but I believe that many children require assistance but are unable to obtain it, which is why I'm here.

I prefer to instruct in a visual manner. I always give my students an example of what I expect of them so they understand what I'm asking. In order for my students to understand what they're being asked to do, I like to break things down into small chunks.
A typical study session starts with us setting our session goals, reviewing what we already know, and then diving right into the session with an educational game, homework review, and subject tutoring.
A typical lesson plan would start with the primary goal in mind and work its way up from there. Because each person is different, each lesson plan will be tailored to that person. For students in middle school or younger, I am the ideal tutor. I having worked with children with special needs as well as older children who are in need of assistance.
