About Khadeja
Hi! I’m Khadeja, a high school student with a passion for education, communication, and helping others succeed. For the past two years, I’ve worked as an English tutor, supporting students from various grade levels in building their reading, writing, and analytical skills. I pride myself on making difficult concepts feel simple by explaining them in ways that are relatable and easy to grasp. Beyond tutoring, I’m deeply interested in creating learning opportunities for my community—whether that’s running workshops, developing programs, or finding new ways to make academic subjects engaging. I enjoy connecting with students, understanding what they need, and helping them grow more confident in their abilities. I’ve been an English tutor for two years, working with students across a wide range of grade levels. As a high school student myself, I understand the challenges my peers and younger students face when approaching reading and writing, which allows me to explain concepts in a clear, relatable, and easy-to-understand way. Whether I’m helping someone strengthen their essay structure, build stronger analytical thinking, or improve grammar and vocabulary, I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. Over time, I’ve supported students in gaining confidence, developing their own writing voices, and achieving measurable improvement in their coursework. My goal in every session is to create a supportive learning environment that meets students where they are and helps them grow.

Khadeja tutored my son in English. He’s a third grader and every session she would read to him and he would learn new vocab, read a short story, and learn a new comprehension skill. It seems like a lot, but Khadeja teaches it in a way that made him remember what he learned. By the end of their time together he was a much better reader and improved his vocabulary. She has such a unique and helpful way of teaching!
