About Maria
I am a very versatile and enthusiastic singer, musician and teacher. I graduated from the College of Music and studied lyrical singing, musical theatre, voice craft, SLS, jazz singing, drama and pop/modern singing as well as piano and music theory.
I've been teaching piano and singing and leading music group lessons, choirs and musical theatre and band workshops, as well as music lessons in schools.

My aim is to help students sing and play with confidence and with a strong technique in a calm yet fun environment. I help students to understand music while we enjoy the lesson.
Examples of concepts taught during singing lessons: breathing technique, voice qualities, pitch control, stage presence, offsets and onsets control, dynamics, etc.
Examples of concepts taught during piano lessons: the correct position of fingers, sight-reading, chords, extended chords, inversions, chord progressions, improvisation, etc.
