About Laura
I have over 15 years of experience teaching Latin, Ancient Greek and Ancient History in a variety of top-performing schools in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, as well as many years as an experienced one-to-one tutor. In addition to an MA in Classics from Oxford University, I am a fully qualified teacher (PGCE with QTS) and hold an enhanced DBS.

I offer personalised Classics tutoring tailored to your individual needs and goals. Whether you're preparing for school exams (Common Entrance, Scholarship, GCSE, A-Level), university entrance (including Oxbridge interview preparation), or simply wish to improve your ancient language and literature skills through independent study, I can help. My lessons are typically one hour long and conducted online. My teaching approach combines academic rigour with an enthusiastic and engaging style to ensure the best possible outcomes for students. In the first teaching session, we will discuss your current level, aspirations, and develop a personalised plan to help you achieve your goals.
