About Samuel
I have a strong background in math and science and have taken advanced courses including AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Calculus. My experience with higher-level courses has given me a strong understanding of the fundamentals that I teach, allowing me to explain difficult concepts in a simple and understandable way.
I am patient, responsible, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. Because I understand what it is like to learn challenging material, I can relate to students and adjust my teaching style to their needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and help them become more independent learners.

My teaching approach is focused on making difficult topics easier to understand. I explain concepts step-by-step, use simple examples, and then give students practice problems to make sure they can solve them on their own. I also adjust how I teach depending on the student and encourage them to ask questions whenever they are confused.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing what the student is currently learning and identifying what they need help with. I then explain the topic, work through examples with them, and have them practice independently. At the end, we review mistakes and go over the main ideas again.
What sets me apart is that I am a high school student currently taking advanced math and science classes, so I understand what it is like to learn these subjects as a student. I can explain concepts in a simple and relatable way without making lessons feel overwhelming.
I tutor Algebra 1, Biology, Chemistry, 8th-grade science, and most subjects below the 9th-grade level. My lessons are best for elementary and middle school students, as well as students beginning high school who need extra help, test preparation, homework support, or want to get ahead.

For you Samuel I would probably try to explain in explain better because some terms they were broad but it was still good just a little bit more description. Also if you would lighten up your mood when you teach because it feels like you’re just doing it to do it and not like you want to do it. Something that would make me trust you more is if you would introduce yourself more in detail and not just saying basic words that could go for everyone. Other than that you’re really nice and help me and other people a lot.
I know this person because he’s a friend of a friend. He’s a really good teacher and helps me really visualize questions and explains it in ways others couldn’t. I definitely recommend him. My grades have largely increased since working with him and I know it will have the same effects on other students as well
