About Miss C
My name is Carrie and I have recently qualified as a teacher. I hold a BA honours in history and a Diploma in Education and Training.
I love history and am always exploring new facets of our history. My specialist area is World War One, particularly Mesopotamia. For the last six years I have worked as a learning assistant with SEND students, particularly those on the autistic spectrum

I believe anyone can achieve their goals with the right support. with this in mind I listen to the student's requirements and adapt my lessons accordingly. Through my job with SEND students I have the ability to differentiate the work accordingly. I am patient and supportive.
The typical length of my lessons are 90 minutes as I believe that any longer and our brains 'switch off'. However, if you require longer or shorter sessions then I am willing to negotiate.
Although I have limited experience tutoring I have six years experience working one to one with SEND students
My lessons are for anyone requiring extra support with their history homework or exam preparation for any level up to A level and preparation for university
