About Sean
I have been fascinated by history since I was in school. It is an amazing subject to study and it also provides students with an outstanding range of skills, such as critical analysis. I am highly qualified which enables me to offer outstanding lessons on subject content. In 2009 I graduated with a BA in History. I then studied for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Secondary History) in 2016. Finally I began a Master's in History with the University of Birmingham in 2021.
Alongside my love for the subject, I am also a passionate and inspiring teacher. I have been teaching since 2013, and in 2017 I became the Head of Humanities at an outstanding British school. I have excellent interpersonal skills and I am adept at working with children, this helped me to gain a promotion to the Head of Lower Secondary in 2020 at my most recent school.
Crafting well-written exam answers can certainly be one of the more challenging aspects of studying history. However, as I am an examiner for the UK's leading exam boards, I am able to offer my students insight and guidance to help them reach their potential and achieve their goals.

I have been teaching history since 2013. I am a passionate and engaging educator and I have been the Head of Humanities at an outstanding British school since 2017. I always tailor my classes to each individual student and I have a track record of improving student outcomes. This year my A-level students all received grade A and A* in their summer examination.
My lessons are always structured to ensure students get the most of the time. I typically focus on content, skills and exam practice. I am able to use my substantial experience as an examiner to help students write outstanding exam answers.
