About Beth
I am 22 years old, originally from Bristol but now living in London with my boyfriend and our lovely dog (Tia, a Staffie X Boxer rescue from Battersea)!
I’m friendly and approachable, and have always been happiest when surrounded by books! I love to study, and I have an undergraduate degree in History (in which I achieved a high 2.1) as well as a Masters in Middle Eastern Studies from King’s College, London (in which I achieved a Distinction). I am also currently in the process of writing my PhD proposal, which I hope to submit over the next two years.
I have studied many different periods of history, including: Roman Britain; general U.S history; facism in Italy; Nazism in Germany; Spanish Civil War; French resistance; English social history and MENA history (diplomacy in ME, etc). My MA in Middle Eastern Studies means I am also knowledgable in a vast range of MENA politics/history (including displacement, state building, tolerance, Arab-Israeli Conflict)..
