About Riley
Teacher, student, writer, philosopher... I have always had a love for the liberal arts, specifically social studies. I have over four years experience in teaching all different ages and abilities. I majored in History and minored in philosophy, am currently substitute teaching, and am in the process of pursuing a CA teaching credential and an MA in Education.

I am a firm believer in adopting a growth mentality. I believe that everybody can learn and that the goal of an education should be the cultivation of the individual. If an individual improves their ability to critically think, write, and speak, then they are prepared to succeed in any discipline and aspect of life. I believe in teaching through conversation and discourse, emphasizing themes, and then using specific facts to bolster and provide evidence for said themes.
