About Shilo
I am an American who currently studies at the University of Oxford. I've also studied at Yale-NUS College in Singapore. I'm familiar with the American and UK education systems and am equally comfortable tutoring both. I understand how frustrating it can be not to understand a subject and I'm here to help you get over speedbumps and start to enjoy what you learn. I want success for all of my students and am well-equipped to get them there.

I tutor according to the needs of my students. I am happy to tutor students from 11-18 on any period of world history from 1000 A.D.-modern day. My lessons typically start with an overview of the period or source text that the student is using. I then go over any difficulties or concerns the student might have, and use a problem-solving approach for the rest of the lesson.
