About Jack
I am a history student currently attending the university of Birmingham offering. I am currently starting my second year of my 3 year course and wanting to help students up to GCSE during these unprecedented times.
I have an 8/A* in English Language and a 7 in English Literature. Throughout my time in secondary school I was both an English language tutor for years 7 through to 9, and also a reading coach for children that experience learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Through my lessons I seek to motivate and encourage learning of my students, which in turn causes improvement and development.

My teaching method is not set in stone. Of course it will build upon core skills within English language, such as how to structure essays, understand texts and write creatively. However, as a tutor, I believe that the best experience is one that speaks to the tutee. Therefore lessons will be designed and planned to support your needs!
