About Beth
I have been a teacher for three years and it’s something I am passionate about. I’ve been at my current school for two years where students have made good progress against their target grades. I have taught years 7-13 successfully and pupils comment on my commitment to them as individuals rather than statistics. I specialise in the World Wars, Elizabethan England, the USA 1929-2000 and Changes in Leisure.

My teaching methodology is really about empathy and getting you in the mindset of someone within a given period. In a normal classroom setting I can be found doing strange activities like Medieval Ready Steady Cook and history murder mysteries which are always popular. I prefer a hands on approach and am looking forward to adapting this to online tutoring.
