About Tanvi
With a PhD in Biology and four years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students connect with the natural world and understand the complexities of living organisms. I believe that biology is both fascinating and essential, and I aim to make the subject engaging and accessible to all students. I provide personalized support through assignments, experiments, and exam preparation, helping students not only grasp the material but also develop critical thinking and scientific inquiry skills. My teaching style encourages students to ask questions, think analytically, and apply their knowledge to real-world biological problems. I’ve taught students at different levels and tailor my approach to suit each student’s unique learning style. In the biology course, we begin by exploring genetics, studying how traits are inherited and how DNA functions within living organisms. Students learn about gene expression, mutations, and inheritance patterns, gaining a solid understanding of how genetic material is passed down from one generation to the next.
As the course progresses, we move into ecology, where students explore ecosystems, biodiversity, and the relationship between organisms and their environment. Topics like food webs, energy flow, and environmental conservation are covered to help students understand the importance of sustainability.
We also touch on human biology, including the structure and function of organs and organ systems, providing students with a broad understanding of how the human body works. Practical experiments, case studies, and real-world examples help students apply what they learn and see how biology impacts their daily lives.
