About Maisaratu
When I was 10 years old, if a friend or relative asked me what I wanted to be in the future, I'd say 'A doctor ' without a beat. When I turned 13 years, I wanted to be a petrochemical engineer and when I joined my secondary school's press club at 15, I wanted to be a journalist. When I turned 16 years I wanted to be a doctor again. Due to personal reasons, I couldn't study away from home and the university closest to me didn't offer Medicine so I chose the next best thing, Microbiology. After graduating from the university,I got posted to a private school for my National youth service corps program,After being in a Classroom for a week,at 23 years old,I finally knew what I wanted to be.I want to impact knowledge, I want to coach kids to be better than me,help them achieve their goals.

My tutoring technique would be discussion and demonstration using diagrams,pictures and charts. The most important thing is to build a rapport with the tutee which I usually do by being honest and describing my challenges I had while I was in school. I would prefer to tutor secondary school students from Jss1-Ss3, from ages 10-18. My ideal tutoring duration would be an hour. While teaching in a private school,I have offered private tuitions to weak students.
