About Sean Patrick
Hi there - I'm a Broadway, Television, Film & Animation actor and passionate arts educator based in New York City. For the past 14 years, while performing on Broadway in Tony-winning musicals (Kinky Boots and La Cage Aux Folles), big budget studio features (20th Century Fox's The Sitter), Emmy award-winning television series (Fosse/Verdon on FX and others for NBC, ABC, USA, Fox, USA, Showtime & HBO), Academy Award-nominated animated features (The Boxtrolls), I have maintained a robust private coaching practice in addition to teaching acting at various studios, high schools and universities. Professional biography: Sean Patrick's Broadway credits include the Tony-winning tuners Kinky Boots and La Cage Aux Folles. Off-Broadway, his work in Jerry Springer: The Opera (New Group) earned him a Lucille Lortel Nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor. Other Off-Broadway credits include Anna Nicole: The Opera (BAM), Volpone and The Tempest (Red Bull) and Wig Out! (Vineyard Theatre). National and International tours include Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, Fame: The Musical. Regionally, his work has garnered MAC, SALT and Carbonell nominations for Best Actor. On screen, he is best known for his turn as roller skating lackey Garv in 20th Century Fox’s The Sitter, opposite Oscar nominee Jonah Hill and Oscar winner Sam Rockwell. Other film credits include Netflix's Barack Obama biopic Barry, and the Academy Award nominated animated feature The Boxtrolls, for which he provided singing vocals for Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley. Television credits include Fosse/Verdon (FX), Nurse Jackie (Showtime), Donny! (USA), Gotham (Fox), Forever (ABC), Law & Order (NBC) and Mamma Dallas (pilot for HBO). He holds his Master's from London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

I take great joy in adapting curriculum and materials to suit students of a broad spectrum of backgrounds and skill levels - from the creative beginner to seasoned professional, with coaching clients going on to book Broadway shows such as Frozen, television procedurals like Law & Order, FBI: Most Wanted, SNL, and major motion pictures.
I work across all mediums and genres, and my lessons incorporate a broad range of methodologies, pulling from a foundation of 30 working years in the industry and a Masters from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Students may craft a curriculum track that includes focused instruction in:
