About Charlotte
I am a dedicated and reliable tutor with several years of experience working with students of different ages, backgrounds and learning styles. I am currently studying molecular biology and integrative physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder's honors college. My background as a swim coach and tutor has strengthened my communication skills, patience and has provided me with experience working with students of different ages, backgrounds and learning styles. I am organized, supportive and committed to helping my students feel confident in their abilities.

My lessons are interactive and collaborative. I encourage students to first approach problems independently so I can understand their thought process, so we can then work together to correct misconceptions and strengthen core concepts. Instead of just giving answers, I focus on building confidence, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A typical lesson includes reviewing goals, working through guided practice and reinforcing understanding with practice problems. My background as a tutor and swim coach, working with many different ages and levels, allows me to adapt lessons to fit the needs of every unique student.
