About Dan
Hi!
My name is Dan, I graduated with my BA in Fine Art from the University of Salford last year. Overall, I have studied Art or been involved in Art industries for the last decade.
Currently, I work as a Local Government Officer with the NGDP graduate scheme. As part of this I am studying for a Masters level qualification in leadership and management.
Alongside my day job, I am a practising painter, sculptor and creative writer.
I have an immense passion in supporting students through their study of art and am excited to help students develop their skills and artistic confidence.
I live in West Yorkshire with my partner and my three, adopted cats.

My classes will be taught in a workshop style with reference to relevant artists. Topics taught are focused around the specific skills and techniques you would like to develop. All classes will include an element of reflection/writing about your work as this is essential to art education.
Typical length of lesson will be around 1 hour but I would be more than happy to facilitate longer sessions.
I have studied art at GCSE, Foundation and Degree level. I graduated with 1st class in my Fine Art Bachelors last year. As well as this, I have experience in hosting community workshops in a range of mediums and supporting art students through their studies.
I am a trained learning facilitator and mentor.
