About Sonika

Hi, I’m Sonika. I’m an experienced ICSE teacher with 10 years of teaching experience, and I specialize in helping students build strong fundamentals and real confidence in Mathematics and Physics. I teach ICSE Class 9 Mathematics & Physics and ICSE Class 10 Mathematics, with a focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and board-oriented preparation. My classes are structured, interactive, and fully doubt-friendly, so students feel comfortable asking questions and improving steadily. I also conduct regular practice tests and assessments, and I provide detailed feedback to help students understand their progress and strengthen weak areas.

About the lesson

I teach ICSE Class 9 Mathematics & Physics and ICSE Class 10 Mathematics through online 1-on-1 sessions and small batches.

My teaching focuses on strong conceptual clarity, step-by-step problem solving, and exam-pattern practice. I break difficult topics into simple parts, explain the “why” behind each step, and ensure the student can solve similar questions independently. Doubts are encouraged throughout the class, and I give targeted practice based on the student’s weak areas.

Each class usually includes:

Quick revision of the previous topic
Clear explanation of the day’s concept
Solved examples (guided practice)
Student practice questions (with correction)
Doubt clearing and short recap
Regular worksheets and ICSE-style tests are conducted to track progress.

Special features as a teacher

I focus strongly on doubt-clearing, consistent practice, and improvement tracking. Students receive regular assessments, corrections, and feedback so they know exactly what to improve and how. My aim is to reduce exam fear, strengthen fundamentals, and help students build confidence in solving board-level questions.
