Experienced IELTS & Academic English Tutor | MEd (Canterbury) & MSc Communication (UK) | Vietnamese Language Specialist | Tailored 1-on-1 Lessons for Language Success Kia ora! I'm Hieu (Elisa), an experienced English tutor with over 12 years of teaching IELTS, academic, and general English to learners from diverse backgrounds. I have already achieved a Master of Media & Communication from the University of Stirling (UK) with Distinction, and I am currently pursuing another Master (of Education) from the University of Canterbury (NZ). I’m also adept in Vietnamese, having studied Vietnamese Literature at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted. This strong foundation, combined with my passion and flair for languages, allows me to support learners in language acquisition—whether you’re improving your English or reconnecting with Vietnamese as a lost or heritage mother tongue. I’ve helped students of all ages—especially those from Asian backgrounds—overcome challenges with grammar, vocabulary, writing, and test prep.
