About Amir
I am an IT professional with 18 years of experience, currently based in Frankfurt, Germany. I scored Band 8.5 in IELTS, and I prepared for it the way most of my students have to: while holding down a demanding full-time job.
Having professionally worked in different countries across the globe, I know this exam from the candidate's side, including the visa deadlines and the pressure behind the score, not only from the teaching side. I will always tell you honestly where your English stands today and what it will take to reach your target band.

I prepare students for IELTS Academic and General Training, covering all four papers: Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening. I also teach general and professional English for anyone who needs to work, study or communicate confidently in it.
Every student begins with a free diagnostic session. You do a short writing task and a speaking sample, which I assess against the official band descriptors, and I tell you honestly what band you are at today, what is holding your score back, and how many weeks you realistically need to reach your target. No vague encouragement, no inflated promises.
From there we work systematically on your weakest areas. Most candidates lose their target band in Writing Task 2, so that is usually where we start: essay structure, task response, and the specific phrasing examiners reward. Speaking practice comes with immediate, specific feedback, and we use full mock tests under timed conditions so exam day holds no surprises. Everything is anchored to real past papers and official marking criteria, because knowing English and knowing how the examiner awards marks are two different things.
I scored Band 8.5 myself while working full time, so I understand the exam from the candidate's side, not just the teacher's.
