About Shilpa
Hello! I’m Shilpa, an IIM graduate and an IT professional with over 6 years of experience. But my journey with Mathematics wasn’t always easy.
There was a time when I found Math difficult and struggled to understand concepts. Things changed when I had a teacher who explained concepts patiently and guided me in the right way. With the right support and practice, I gradually became confident and strong in Math. That experience taught me that sometimes, a student doesn’t need more pressure—they simply need the right explanation and guidance.
This is one of the reasons I enjoy helping students with Math. I have also tutored students from my neighborhood and really enjoy making difficult concepts simple and understandable.
I teach Mathematics for Classes 5 to 10, focusing on concept clarity, step-by-step problem solving, and building confidence. My goal is to help students not just find the answer, but understand how and why they arrive at it.
If Math feels difficult today, I believe that with the right guidance, it can become one of your strongest subjects too!

I believe Mathematics is best learned by understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I use a simple, step-by-step and student-friendly approach, focusing on strong fundamentals, logical thinking, and problem-solving.
I am a fresher in professional teaching, but I have experience tutoring students from my neighborhood. I adapt my teaching pace according to each student's learning level and encourage students to ask questions and clarify doubts freely.
A typical class includes:
