About Shweta
I've always enjoyed math and science, but I know that many students find them scary or boring. Most of the time, that's not because the subjects are hard. It's because nobody explained the basics in a way that made sense. Once a concept really clicks, the fear goes away and the subject becomes fun.
That's why I want to teach. During college, I volunteered with the National Service Scheme and spent time teaching school students. Seeing a student go from "I don't get this" to "oh, that's easy!" was one of the most satisfying things I've done, and I want to keep doing it.
Good teachers made a big difference in my own journey, and I'd like to be that kind of teacher for someone else. I'll be patient, I'll never make you feel bad for asking a question, and I'll work with you until you truly understand.

Hi, I'm Shweta! I'm a mechanical engineer and a graduate of IIT Bhilai, one of India's premier engineering institutes, and I have worked as a research intern at the University of Oxford. Math and science have been at the center of my education and work for years, and I enjoy making them simple for others.
My teaching method: I focus on concepts first, not memorizing. I explain every topic from the basics using everyday examples, then we solve problems together step by step until you can do them on your own. I encourage questions at every stage, because understanding "why" is what makes math and science stick.
Structure of a class: We start with a quick recap of the previous lesson and clear any doubts. Then I introduce the new concept, work through examples, and give you practice problems to solve with my guidance. We end with a short summary and a few problems to try before the next class.
What makes me different: As an engineer, I use math and science to solve real problems, so I can show you where each concept is actually used. I'm patient and friendly, and I adapt my pace to each student. During college I also volunteered with the National Service Scheme, teaching and interacting with school students, which taught me how to explain things clearly and keep learners engaged.
Who my classes are for: School students from classes 6 to 12 who want to build strong fundamentals, improve their marks, or prepare for board exams. Classes can be in English or Hindi.
