About Aubrey
Hi musicians! I would love to be your tutor and help you grow your musicianship skills and instrumental technique. I've been playing the flute for 8 years and throughout my career as a musician I have participated in honor bands, college bands, symphonies, and orchestras. I've also been a part of orchestras in Broadway productions such as Beauty and The Beast and The Little Mermaid. I am also a world record holder for the most piccolos playing Stars and Stripes Forever with 192 piccolos! I also play a few other instruments such as clarinet and oboe. I have experience in childcare, and I love to work with children overall. I am patient, kind, encouraging, and a great problem solver. However, I'd love to work with anyone of any age to help them grow along their musical journey! Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student in music I will develop personal lessons that focus on your strengths and weaknesses as a player. I also will give lessons in basic music theory to help build foundational skills in your playing. I look forward to helping you along your musical journey in becoming a better musician!

During lessons with me I will teach instrumental technique, music theory, and musicianship. I teach all levels beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians. I also teach all ages.
My primary instruments are flute and piccolo with 8 years of experience. I also can teach clarinet and oboe to beginner and intermediate students.
A lesson plan with me is personalized to each student but will begin with music theory. The next part of the lesson will be breathing exercises. Following that will instrumental technique for the remainer of the lesson. I will also teach students how to properly take care of their specific instrument.

Aubrey was my clarinet tutor for a year in 2023 and she was the best teacher ever. She always encouraged me so much even when it was hard.
